When you see this

The service is temporarily unable to handle your request due to maintenance, overload, or dependency failures.

Common Causes

• The service is undergoing scheduled maintenance or updates.
• A required backend service or dependency is unreachable or down.
• The system is experiencing high load and cannot process additional requests.
• Database connections are exhausted or unavailable.
• External service dependencies (authentication, licensing, etc.) are not responding.

How to Resolve

1. Wait a few moments and retry your request - the issue may be temporary.
2. Check the service status page if available for maintenance notifications.
3. If the error persists, implement exponential backoff in your retry logic.
4. Verify that all required services and dependencies are operational.
5. Contact support if the service remains unavailable for an extended period.

The service typically returns a Retry-After header when possible. Check this header to determine when to retry your request.
