Quorum Requester No Longer Authorized
URI: https://docs.ankatech.co/errors/quorum-requester-not-authorized
HTTP Status: 403 Forbidden
When you see this
An approved quorum request was about to run, and its requester could no longer perform the operation itself: a person no longer holds an active membership or a scope of the operation, an application is no longer active. Approvers approve a request, not the requester's future authority, so the request ends FAILED with this type as its failureType and nothing runs. You meet it in a request's failureType, not as a response to your own call.
Quorum (M-of-N) approval is described in Quorum Approval*.
Common Causes
- The requester's membership was suspended or its roles changed after the request was made.
- The requesting application was suspended or disabled.
- The request was filed by a platform operator inside a support session, and the operator can no longer act there: their platform membership was suspended or removed, they no longer hold a platform role the session was mirrored from, the support-access grant is no longer live (on a SaaS deployment), or the mirrored tenant role no longer carries the operation's scope.
How to Resolve
- If the operation is still wanted, someone who can perform it requests it again.
