Instance Not Claimed
URI: https://docs.ankatech.co/errors/instance-not-claimed
HTTP Status: 409 Conflict
When you see this
Deployment-ownership recovery (envctl.sh <env> recover-platform-access --identity <email>) ran on an environment nobody has claimed yet. A new environment holds no platform administrator: the first one is created by the instance claim, never by a recovery. Nothing was changed, the refusal was recorded in the audit trail, and the command exits non-zero printing the detail.
Common Causes
- The environment was created and deployed, and the claim code was never minted or never redeemed.

Mint a claim code on the environment host:
-
Enter it on the console's claim screen, on the Management origin, with the e-mail address of the first platform administrator. See First-Run Provisioning*.
